Bill Pritchard is a Professor in Geography and Head of School of Geosciences. He has dedicated his research career to the changing human environments of rural places in the contemporary world. His research has sought to unveil the ways that emergent global circulations of goods, services and populations are transforming places, industries and people's lives. He has specific interests in transformations of land and demography in rural Australia, and the effects of economic and environmental changes to patterns of food security and nutrition in rural India, Myanmar and Asia more broadly.
