Ramesha Naika is a Research Scholar (Int. M.Phil-PhD) in the School of Rural Development at Tata Institute of Social Science, Tuljapur Campus Maharashtra, India. His current research intends to understand the Building Farmers Resilience in Karnataka, India. After two years of village work experience, He joined for a Master of Philosophy in Research and Development at Gandhi Gram Rural University Dindigul, During his M.Phil studies, he got the support of the “World Konkani Centre” Academic Scholarship Award 2017-2018. “2019 Right Livelihood Travel Scholarship Grantee” to visit Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies and the Right to Livelihood College (RLC) Campus Lund, to participate in the International Civil Society and Sustainability Studies Workshop at Lund University in Sweden. He got scholarship grantee to visit University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and ICSD has given an opportunity to participate and present his research paper in International Conference on Strengthening Social Development to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be held in July 2019. He has received prestigious award in recognition of his continuing excellence and achievement in the field of Social Work. The “Swami Vivekananda Excellence Award 2019” by Seva Youth Guild Affiliation with NYKS, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affair Government of India. He has published research articles in edited volumes published by Palgrave Macmillan (Springer Nature), Singapore.
