Profile overview
I am a doctorate in Population studies, from the Centre for the Study of Regional Development (CSRD), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. I am working in the area of maternal and child health inequalities, primary healthcare and frontline health workers, the health system, its relation with spatial and economic inequalities, and developmental issues in South Asian countries in general and India in particular. I have worked on household-level WASH inequalities in India during my M.Phil. degree at JNU.
Currently, I am working as a Research Associate-III at the ICMR-National Institute of Medical Statistics (ICMR-NIMS), since, 2022. I have also contributed to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS)- 5 (2019-21) National as well as state (Tamil Nadu & NCT Delhi) reports funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at the nodal agency International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India. I have published a few papers in reputable international journals and a few are in process. I am happy to collaborate with the idea of maternal and child healthcare, and health inequality on national and international platforms.
