Profile overview
I am interested in research that explores policy, health equity and justice. My research interests include policy implementation, the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and the recovery from exploitation and modern slavery in Australia and overseas. I am the first alternate delegate to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists for Occupational Therapy Australia and am keen to learn more about opportunities and challenges for occupational therapy globally.

Collaboration information
My research crosses over public health and allied health but is always focused on health equity, justice and rights. As an occupational therapist I am fascinated by the role and importance of occupation for health and well-being. In my research, I want to learn more about occupational injustices (marginalisation, alienation, deprivation, imbalance, apartheid and dysfunction) in order to promote equity and justice, culturally safe practice and trauma informed care.
