Dr. Radha Raman Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani, India. Prior to joining BITS Pilani, he was involved in product design and development, innovating socio-relevant technologies, and creating awareness about design education among school children and college students while serving as a Project Officer at Design Innovation Center (DIC), IIT Roorkee, India. He received his Ph. D. and M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, India and IIT BHU, Varanasi, India, respectively. His research interests include – the study of microwave-material interaction phenomena, the application of microwave energy in material processing, atomistic modelling and simulation of material systems, composite materials, additive manufacturing, and product design. Dr. Mishra has filed Two Indian Patents and contributed to more than 20 journal publications, 15 conference articles and 08 Book Chapters. He received the 04 Best Paper Award and a Young Scientist International Travel Grant to visit Germany by SERB, Government of India.
