Profile overview
I am a Master of Public health student at IIPH, Delhi, PHFI. My background is as a Physiotherapist. I chose Public health because I was always motivated by questions of origin, "How", "Why" and "When". As an undergraduate intern at UPUMS, Saifai, a tertiary medical hospital, I did a collaborative paper on "COMPARISON OF PSYCHOLOGICAL DIMENSIONS IN RURAL POPULATION WITH VARIOUS JOINT DEGENERATIVE ARTHRITIS" which motivated me to take research as a full-time career opportunity. As a post-graduate intern with Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi, I authored and published my short piece on "PMJAY: Tamil Nadu’s hybrid model" illustrating the progress of PMJAY as a hybrid model. I have good primary and secondary research skills and I am a motivated team player and self-starter. I would be taking up Secondary research on "Prevalence of Disability and the socio-economic factors affecting service utilization in India" as my Master's thesis.
