Mohammed Aslam Husain (Senior Member, IEEE) is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, REC, Ambedkar Nagar, India. He received his B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from AMU, Aligarh, India in 2010, 2012 and 2017 respectively. He worked as the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, at University Polytechnic, Integral University, Lucknow, India from July 2012 to July 2013. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, AMU, Aligarh, India from July 2013 to Dec. 2015. He is a senior member of IEEE and a life member of IEI. He has vast experience of reviewing and publishing research articles.
He has received various awards like: Young Scientist Award- 2017 (Council of Science and Technology- U.P. -INDIA); Council of Scientific & Industrial Research-SRF (Senior Research Fellow-2016), INDIA; GATE-2010 ( 91.3 percentile) and 2013 ( 91.1 percentile); Visiting Researcher Program 2016 of IIT-Kanpur, INDIA; Received Best IEEE Student Branch Award from UP Section (for the year 2019) as the branch counsellor of IEEE Student Branch of Rajkiya Engineering College, Ambedkar Nagar [STB11386]; GATE Scholarship ( National Scholarship) holder in M.Tech [2010-11,2011-12]; and, 2007-08-09: AAA WASHINGTON DC scholarship holder. He has also received externally funded research projects.
His research interests include Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for Solar PV systems, Renewable Energy, and Control of Power Converters
