I am pursuing my PhD in the Computer Science & Information Systems Department at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus, India. I have worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the project MUT-DROCO (Multipath Networking Testbed for Drone Communications) funded by DST-SERB, Govt of India from January 2020 to March 2022. I was exploring reinforcement learning techniques for optimizing network protocols for drone communications and worked in obtaining optimal handover strategy for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using reinforcement learning techniques. In continuation to above, I have started exploring the application of deep reinforcement learning for cyber threat intelligence and successfully defended my PhD thesis proposal on “Deep reinforcement learning based actor-critic methods for cyber threat intelligence” in October, 2021. Currently I am working on one of my thesis objectives, that is based on alert prioritization in intrusion detection systems (IDS) and a paper on "SAC-AP: Soft Actor Critic based Deep Reinforcement Learning for Alert Prioritization'' has been published in international IEEE CEC-2022 conference (Core B), Padua, Italy, July 2022. i have qualified in both esteemed Indian technical competitive examinations: GATE 2019 and UGC-NET 2019. I have received the B. Tech degree in Information Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Hyderabad in 2017 and the M. Tech degree in Computer Science from Osmania University in 2019. My research interests are primarily in the field machine learning techniques for non-terrestrial networking and communications.
Currently I am working on the application of deep reinforcement learning for cyber threat intelligence.
