Collaboration information
I am looking into the different ways to treat construction and demolition waste aggregates (CDWA) and how they could be used in roads to make smart city roads more sustainable. This work will use surface-treated coarse recycled aggregates and alkali-activated binders to make sustainable precast concrete paver blocks (SPCBs) that are good for smart cities. This eliminates the need for portland cement and significantly reduces the amount of virgin aggregates used. There will be a lot of numerical, lab, and small-scale field research to prove the concept and create guidelines for designing rigid pavements with SPCBs that can handle low and medium traffic levels.
