Profile overview
I am a third-year PhD candidate at the Centre for Canadian, US and Latin American studies at the School of International Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University. I hold my Master's and Bachelor's also in International Relations from Christ University Bangalore and the Central University of Kerala respectively. I also hold a few Scopus publications titled 'US-Venezuelan Resource Rivalry-Perils of Rentier Petro State' published by the Austral Brazilian Journal of International Affairs, 'The Democratic Consolidation in Ecuador' published by Democracy and Security journal, and 'Khadi Textiles Women and Rural Development published by Textile journal of Taylor and Francis, UK. My open-eds on 'BRI' and 'Transitional Justice in Cambodia' have also appeared in periodicals like Diplomatist and Modern Diplomacy. Also, my research articles on 'Populism and Securitisation', and 'Analysis of Narco-Terrorism and Crime-Terror Debate' have been accepted by Scopus-indexed journals which are to be published in the 2023 edition. I am also a member of ISA (International Studies Association), Kerala Economics Association and INSC (Institute of Scholars) Bangalore. I am a recipient of the prestigious INSC Research Scholars Award and have also presented my papers at various International and National Conferences including at Doha Gulf Studies, Qatar. For my PhD, I am working on the topic titled "The Impact of Organised Crime in Mexico and the U.S.- policy perspective analysis". My research interest includes but is not limited to Indian Foreign Policy, South Asia, International Relations, Climate-Maritime-Food Security, Crime and Terrorism, Transitional Justice, Energy Security, Populism and Democratic consolidation.

I am currently working on 'Australia-India beyond Quad relations' and on 'Challenges to Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure-India, Australia'. I am also open to working on other topics on International Relations and Security along with other areas as listed above.
