Myself Ashmita Patro, an enthusiastic research scholar from CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar, India. I want to procure a highly dedicated research career in the field of  Environmental Sciences which will help in solving dilemmas affecting the vivid nature and the lives residing in it. Additionally, I even want to assimilate wide depth of knowledge which will help in accommodating new ideas and projecting those inculcated ideas in simpler form to general public.

I and our team is working on biological and biotechnological wastewater treatment of various types of pollutants. Currently, I am working on treatment of various types of pollutants (microplastics, dye, etc.) from different types of wastewater using several technologies which include hydroponic systems, Constructed Wetlands (CWs) and also integration of CW and other bio-electrochemical systems.
