Cultural Partnerships Grant Opportunity

Applications are now open for the Maitri Cultural Partnership grants. 

The grants are an initiative of the newly-announced Centre for Australia-India Relations which aims to lift Australia's collective understanding and awareness of India. 

To deepen bilateral education, cultural and policy links, the Centre will deliver Maitri (“friendship” in Sanskrit) Programs, including scholarships, fellowships, research and cultural partnerships grants. 

There are three grant opportunities:

  1. Maitri Cultural Partnership Major Collaboration Grants of between $125,000 and $250,000 (Total grant package of $250,000)
  1. Maitri Visual and Performing Arts Grants that support First Nations collaboration of between $125,000 and $250,000 (Total grant package of $250,000)
  1. Maitri Cultural Partnership Grants of between $20,000 and $70,000 (Total grant package of $250,000).

Applications close 3 April 2023.
