Round 15: Australia-India Strategic Research Fund

Applications for Round 15 of the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund (AISRF) are now open. 

The program supports Australian and Indian researchers to collaborate on strategically-focused science and technology projects. 

The priority areas for Round Fifteen are artificial Intelligence and machine learning, new and renewable energy technologies (particularly ultra-low-cost solar and clean hydrogen), urrban mining and electronic waste recycling, a
ntimicrobial resistance and RNA vaccines and therapies.

The fund has supported over 360 projects, fellowships and workshops in areas of importance to Australia and India. 

The AISRF is jointly administered by the Australian Department of Industry, Science and Resources, and the Indian Government’s Department of Science and Technology and Department of Biotechnology.

Applications close 15 March 2023.
