New centre for India Australia studies

Symbiosis International University has launched the Symbiosis Centre for India Australia Studies (SCIAS). The first of its kind in western India, it will play an important role in strengthening the Australia-India partnership in education and research.

Symbiosis has a long history of collaborations with Australian universities, including Deakin University, Macquarie University, The University of Queensland, Bond University, University of Adelaide and University of Melbourne. The SCIAS will build on these partnerships; encouraging academic and student mobility, joint research initiatives, bilateral dual degree programs and more. It will also create new opportunities for academic-industry collaborations on Sustainable Development Goals.

The new centre will be based at the Symbiosis Centre for International Education in Pune.
